The
Jurançon winemaking region stretches
over several tens of kilometres
in an area of sometimes steep hillsides.
Although
sheltered from the wind, the vines are planted
in sunny, terraced plots on the hillside
slopes, benefiting from the rising winds
of the Pyrénées and the silico-argillaceous
soil. Starting in Pau, discover this beautiful
green landscape.

The
Jurançon winemaking region has created
a place for itself among the greats, and
is proud of its roots and history. From
the time when Henri IV placed a few drops
of Jurançon on the lips of a newborn,
to becoming a Controlled
Origin Appellation in 1936, this
winemaking region has travelled through
the ages to offer a pleasing dry or sweet
wine to the most discriminating palates.
